Jonathan Chun, Ph.D. - CEO | Founder
Dr. Jonathan Chun received his Chemistry degrees from Princeton University (Ph.D., M.A.) and the University of Hawaii (B.S.), and his graduate studies focused on chemical sensors and electrochemical systems. After post-doctoral work investigating conducting polymers, Dr. Chun joined a clinical diagnostics company (i-STAT/Abbott Point of Care) creating portable blood testing instruments. He later joined the Analytical Technology group at the Princeton R&D Center of FMC Corporation which provided broad analytical testing services worldwide to the various chemical and machinery divisions of the corporation. As Senior Scientist and Group Leader, Jonathan provided project leadership for analytical investigations and managed the analytical group prior to co-founding Alliance Technologies as an independent chemical testing and materials characterization laboratory.
Kristina Nicolosi, B.S. - Executive Assistant | Sales & Marketing Associate
Kristina comes to Alliance Technologies with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and a minor in Communication Studies from The College of New Jersey. Prior to joining our team working with the CEO on sales, marketing and business development, Kristina worked as a physician liaison for a physical therapy group as well as in marketing consulting and event planning for pharmaceutical businesses promoting their products and providing product training. In addition to promoting Alliance through social media, print, or video, you will find Kristina at tradeshows, scientific meetings, and company events meeting clients from a wide range of industries served by our consulting chemical testing laboratory including pharma, chemical, legal, cosmetic, electronics, manufacturing, and personal care. In her spare time, Kristina enjoys spending time with her dog and reading.
Ying Chen, M.S. - Office Administrator
Ying Chen holds a Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from North Carolina A&T State University and a Bachelor’s Degree from China University of Petroleum. With extensive experience in customer service and operations in the hospitality industry, she brings strong interpersonal and organizational skills to her current role. Her technical education background enables her to align sample intake process seamlessly with the work of the chemists. In her free time, Ying enjoys traveling to new places, reading, and cooking for her family. Ying will likely be the first person you meet when you call or visit!
Juliana Stracci, B.S. - Quality Assurance Manager
Working in a contract laboratory whose clients require testing sample under GMP and non-GMP scenarios depending on their needs, requires compliance to current regulations and a pragmatic approach. Juliana Stracci earned her Bachelor’s Degree from New Jersey City University and brings over 10 years of expertise to her role as QA Manager at Alliance Technologies. Juliana has established herself as a detail-oriented quality assurance expert by working several years in the healthcare field as well as cosmetic/OTC manufacturing. Her extensive background includes a robust track record in managing and coordinating quality assurance (QA) activities and showcasing a meticulous approach to ensure compliance. At Alliance Technologies, Juliana provides leadership to the QAU and actively contributes to ongoing efforts to enhance efficiency and elevate overall quality assurance framework.
Georg Eyerman, B.S. - Sr. Scientist
Georg Eyerman received his Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry at Fairleigh Dickinson University. After receiving his degree, he worked in the research and development analytical lab of L’Oreal USA before joining Alliance Technologies. Bringing over 25 years of experience, Georg has expertise in HPLC, GC, IC and wet chemical analyses. Since joining Alliance, he is building his skills and expertise in ICP (ICP-MS and ICP-OES) as well as related analytical techniques. Georg enjoys spending time with his wife and his three dogs, as well as traveling. He is also an avid model car and truck enthusiast, having won numerous awards for his collection.
Tracy Torres, B.S. - Sr. Scientist
Tracy earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Forensic Chemistry from Towson University. After receiving her degree, she worked in research and development as well as environmental and analytical testing at SGS prior to joining Alliance Technologies. At Alliance Technologies, Tracy’s expanded her technical expertise in chromatography and wet chemistry. Her in-depth knowledge in these areas has been a cornerstone of her success in tackling complex analytical projects with precision and efficiency. More recently, Tracy has worked to diversify her skills set by delving into microscopy and molecular spectroscopy. After 5 years of continuous learning and professional development, Tracy was promoted to Senior Scientist / Project Lead and provides technical expertise and project management to a wide variety of challenging and routine test requests.
Chiara Beja, B.S. - Staff Scientist
Chiara graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Stockton University in 2021, where she concentrated in Pre-Physical Therapy and minored in Holistic Health. With a strong background in analytical chemistry and laboratory science, Chiara has experience in HPLC, LC-MS/MS, GC, Dissolution, and IC. Her previous experience was as a Scientist/Manager at Life Science Laboratories, where she oversaw laboratory operations and specialized in HPLC, FTIR, and disintegration testing. She comes to Alliance with a well-rounded combination of scientific expertise, innovation, communication, and interpersonal skills. In her spare time, Chiara enjoys surfing at the Jersey Shore and adding to her collection of NeeDohs.
Yi Wang, Ph.D. - Sr. Scientist
Dr. Yi Wang received his Ph.D in Analytical Chemistry degree from the Academy of Sciences in Beijing and went on to receive post-doctoral training at Brown University and Princeton University. His graduate studies focused on environmental biogeochemical processes. In 2009, Dr. Wang joined ZymaX Forensics (now Pace Analytical), an environmental laboratory serving all 50 states and numerous international clients. He joined Alliance Technologies in 2017 as a Senior Scientist and Group Leader, providing project leadership for analytical investigations and managing the chromatography separations group. Dr. Wang enjoys continuously expanding his knowledge of chemistry. You can always find him with a fresh bowl of popcorn in hand.
Camille Fiumara, B.S. - Staff Scientist
Camille Fiumara received her Bachelor’s Degree in Forensic and Toxicological Chemistry from West Chester University of Pennsylvania. Her background includes work in a toxicology and research laboratory, in addition to environmental and analytical testing. Camille brings experience in GC-MS, GC-FID, and ICP-MS. At Alliance Technologies, she continues to expand her knowledge in analytical chemistry, while further developing her analytical instrumentation and wet chemistry skills. In her free time, Cami enjoys spending time with her friends and family.
Robert Orlando, B.F.A., M.T.S. — Creative Director, Strategy & Digital Production
Robert brings more than 25 years of experience in strategic communications, creative direction, film and digital production, publishing, and brand storytelling. As founder and executive director of Nexus Media, he has led projects for organizations including Johnson & Johnson, Novartis/Sandoz, Unilever, Procter & Gamble, Merrill Lynch, Lifetime Television, and Princeton University. His film and digital portfolio includes numerous feature-length projects, while his work through Robomantix explores his work as a consultant. He is also the author of more than 100 published articles and several books. At Alliance Technologies, Robert works with the CEO on communications strategy, market positioning, and business development while leading the creation of video, website content, presentations, proposals, executive communications, and sales materials. He holds a B.F.A. in Film from the School of Visual Arts and an M.T.S. from Princeton Theological Seminary in religion and culture.
Brian Bentley, M.A. - Staff Scientist
Brian Bentley received his Master’s in Organic Chemistry & Biochemistry from the University of Delaware and Bachelor’s degrees in both Chemistry & Biochemistry from Villanova University. He previously worked in R&D at a forensic and clinical toxicology laboratory where he started his work in analytical chemistry, bringing experience in method development/validation and GCMS, in particular. At Alliance Technologies, Brian is expanding his analytical instrumentation and wet chemistry skills.
Brian Kozlowski, M.S. - Sr. Scientist
Brian Kozlowski brings to Alliance over 20 years of experience in life sciences through roles across Pharma, Animal Health, and at Laboratory Automation and Specialty Chemical suppliers. In positions at Merck Pharmaceuticals and Boehringer-Ingelheim Animal Health, he utilized and became skilled in many of the analytical techniques commonly used in pharma, including HPLC, GC, Dissolution, and various physical characterization methodologies. He has in-depth experience with analytical method and technology transfer between research and commercial sites and has been active in the lab automation community for years. Brian Kozlowski earned his Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Mount St. Mary’s University and his Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Lehigh University.
Manjula Ravindran, M.Sc. - Staff Scientist
Manjula Ravindran received her Master’s Degree in Analytical Chemistry from Bangalore University after a bachelor’s degree in chemistry, physics and mathematics. She has worked in various analytical testing laboratories and in the GE polymer R&D center in Bangalore before a stint at the Environmental Isotope Laboratory, Canada. Her experience includes working with various analytical techniques particularly GC,GC-MS,GC-IRMS,ICP-OES and HPLC. At Alliance Technologies, Manjula continues her journey in analytical chemistry as a generalist covering wet chemical analysis, GC-MS, UV/Vis Spectrophotometer, microwave sample digestion and SEM characterization.
